Start with a task you can check

These are example requests, not pre-generated results. Set the actual drawing units and adapt the dimensions to your project before sending one to the agent.

Lay out a small plan

Create a concept layout inside this selected 12 × 9 m boundary: living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom. Show room areas and access from the entrance. Keep the layout inside the boundary and report any requirement that cannot fit.

Check: room sizes, connections, door operation and boundary clearance.

Rearrange an existing room

Rearrange only the furniture in the selected room. Preserve walls, doors, windows and dimensions. Use suitable library blocks when available, check their scale, and put new furniture on A-FURN. Keep the doorway clear.

Check: preserved geometry, block units and usable circulation.

Draft a dimensioned 2D detail

In millimetres, draw a 200 × 120 rectangular plate with four diameter-10 holes, their centres 20 mm from each adjacent edge. Put the outline on M-OUTLINE, hole centres on M-CENTRE and dimensions on M-DIMS.

Check: overall size, hole diameters, centre positions and dimension values.

From a request to a saved file

1. Open or start a drawing
Confirm units and a known dimension. For an edit, select the actual elements or area and keep an original copy.
2. Describe one clear task
Give sizes, layers, required changes and what must stay fixed. For a larger plan, review the layout before adding details.
3. Inspect and refine
Measure important geometry, inspect the layers and ask for a local correction where needed. Save a new DWG/DXF and reopen it.

Is this a free AI CAD generator?

The manual CAD editor is free. AI is an optional paid service requiring an account and a plan or credits. Check current pricing before starting AI work.

Can I modify an existing DWG?

Open a copy of the DWG, use AI Selection for a focused edit and specify the elements to preserve. Review the changes and test the saved file before handing it over.

Does it create 3D solids or construction-ready designs?

This workflow focuses on editable 2D drafting. Do not assume a generated drawing is a parametric 3D model, a complete BIM model or an approved construction document. Dimensions, design decisions and relevant regulations still need review.

Where can I use it?

Use the browser app or the Windows, Mac and Linux desktop versions. AI needs internet access. Desktop manual drafting can be used offline.
