Car CAD Blocks — Vehicles in Plan and Elevation
Twenty-two files that put traffic on a drawing. Road vehicles lead: a sedan in top view, a five-car sheet, a minivan in side elevation, three single trucks and a truck sheet of 25 inserts spread across 28 layers. Two motorcycles are drawn in unusual detail, a cruiser of 1,069 entities and a touring machine of 2,105 whose layer is still named after the model. A bicycle carries 711 entities including 273 polylines, and a bike-rack sheet runs to 255,609. Five ships and five aircraft close the set, all seen from above.
Plan vehicles set out parking bays, drop-offs, turning circles and service yards at 1:100 to 1:500, and a car footprint of roughly 4.5 by 2 metres is the fastest check that a bay is wide enough. Side elevations belong in street scenes and sections. The motorcycles and the bicycle were each drawn at their own numeric scale, one spanning 600 units and another over 100,000, so measure a wheel and scale on insertion instead of trusting the unit flag. Rotate parked copies a few degrees off the bay line and keep vehicles on a layer you can switch off for setting-out drawings.
