Basic Symbols In Architectural Drawings
A five-part legend of plumbing, electrical, gas, irrigation and finishes symbols with Spanish captions.
100 KB · 972 entities
Six files of drawing notation and signage. A legend sheet of 972 entities sets 256 pieces of text against symbols for plumbing, drainage and electrical work spread over eleven layers. A north arrow file holds 1,630 entities on 39 layers, with the north symbol drawn several different ways. Safety signage follows: emergency exit signs on 22 layers numbered EV01 to EV14, a workplace hazard sheet with 83 hatches in the familiar black and yellow, a set of prohibition signs, and 38 sport pictogram inserts.
Notation symbols belong in the drawing frame and the legend, plotted at the same printed size whatever the plan scale, so place them in paper space or size them against your text height rather than the model. Signage plans are drawn at 1:100 with the pictograms enlarged to stay readable. The exit and hazard signs rely on hatch fills in the colours the standards expect, so keep those hatches on a layer of their own, where a global scale change cannot wipe the fill out.
