About this block
Thirty-eight rounded-square plaques, each carrying an outline figure at a sport or leisure activity. Four rows of eight cover water skiing, gymnastics, diving, windsurfing, hiking, tobogganing, spectator seating, a person with a white cane, cable car, cross-country skiing, horse riding, chairlift, canoeing, roller skating, baseball, hang gliding, tennis, climbing, fishing, rowing, skateboarding, wheelchair access, ice skating and a viewpoint. A larger bottom row of six adds running, golf, a family group, first aid and swimming.
Sports centres, hotels, resorts, parks and campsites all need this vocabulary on wayfinding boards, site plans and door signage. Drop one plaque beside the facility it names on a site layout, or line several up as a legend on a signage elevation. The figures are outlines rather than solid silhouettes, so they hold together when reduced; below about 8 mm on the plot the thin limbs start to merge and a filled version reads better.
Unusually for a sheet like this, every pictogram is already a block: 38 inserts drawn from 39 definitions, so model space holds only 42 objects in total. You can insert one by name straight into another drawing without exploding anything first. The definitions carry generic names — block 2, block 14, block 52 — so rename them to something searchable such as SIGN-SWIM before you add them to your library. The plaques are square and equal at roughly 8,900 units, apart from three larger ones.
