Pick the right Mac download
Open About This Mac from the Apple menu. A machine showing an Apple chip uses the Apple Silicon build; a machine showing an Intel processor uses the Intel build. A website cannot reliably infer the processor from a browser string, so check the machine rather than trusting automatic detection.
Use the installer linked from the official NASJI download page. Move Nasjicad into Applications before running it. Running an app directly from a mounted disk image or a temporary folder can prevent an updater from replacing it. Keep your project files in your normal project folder, separate from the application.
Check the first drawing before editing
Open a copy of a representative DWG or DXF. Zoom to the whole drawing, then inspect a dense area containing dimensions, hatching, text and blocks. If an expected element is missing, check its layer and any external dependencies first.
- Measure a known wall or grid spacing and confirm the drawing units.
- Check that the text is legible and that dimensions refer to the intended geometry.
- Inspect one block at its actual insertion scale and rotation.
- Keep the original file available until you have reopened and checked the saved result.
Make one useful change and save a new copy
A good trial is a real but reversible change: move a desk, adjust a partition or correct a label. Put additions on a named layer. Save a new file, close it and reopen it to make sure the change persists. If the drawing is going back to a Windows colleague, ask them to verify that copy in their usual viewer/editor.
Do not infer complete compatibility from a single successful open. Specialized objects, unusual fonts and external references need their own tests. The deliverable your team accepts is the relevant benchmark.
Use AI for a focused change
Start by selecting the room or elements you want to change. Ask for one bounded edit and name the things to preserve. A precise request is easier to review than asking the agent to redesign an entire project in one turn.

In the selected room, rearrange only the furniture. Keep the walls, doors, windows and dimensions unchanged. Keep the doorway and circulation path clear. Put new furniture on A-FURN, then report any unresolved conflicts.
Keep updates visible and your work safe
Nasjicad includes an Updates control near command search so you can inspect the installed version and the available update. Save your drawing before restarting to install an update. If an update fails, check that the app is in Applications and that there is enough free disk space; keep the error message for support.
