About this block
Seen from above, this block shows a run of double-acting leaves: the outer leaves swing through 180 degrees toward the outside, and the inner pair swings both ways, so their paths are drawn as full circles either side of the opening. Short wall stubs close the composition at each end. It is one block definition named AP0E04 made of 22 lines and 4 arcs on a layer called A-Door, and it spans 5.2 by 2.0 drawing units, which reads as metres for leaves about one metre wide.
Hospitals, kitchens and back-of-house corridors use double-acting doors, and this symbol shows their full swing so clearances can be checked in plan at 1:50 and 1:100. Insert it on the wall centreline, trim your wall to the stubs, and scale by 1000 in a millimetre drawing. If only one pair is needed, explode a copy and delete the outer leaves; the arcs are simple objects and re-block cleanly.
