About this block
Two leaves hinged at the outer jambs swing right back against the wall, so their paths are drawn as two facing semicircles that nearly touch at the centre of the opening. Wall stubs with double lines run out from each jamb. The block, AP0E03, is only 18 entities (12 lines, 4 polylines and 2 arcs) on layer A-Door, and it spans 2.81 by 1.81 drawing units. Read as metres that gives two 0.9 m leaves, so the file's inch flag can be ignored.
Wide openings in assembly rooms, hospital wards and classrooms are usually drawn like this to show that the leaves fold flat. Insert it on the wall centreline at 1:50 or 1:100 and trim the wall between the stubs. In millimetre drawings scale by 1000. If the leaves must swing to the other side, mirror the block about the wall line rather than rotating it.
