About this block

The plan shows a revolving door with four wings meeting at a central hub circle, enclosed by two curved wall segments with small end posts, and straight wall stubs continuing on either side. It is one block definition, AP0E09, made of 12 lines, 12 polylines and 4 arcs on the A-Door layer. The drum measures about 1.8 drawing units across, and the whole symbol is 3.12 by 1.83 units, which is a real revolving door in metres.

Use it at hotel, office and retail entrances in plans at 1:100 and 1:50, where the drum diameter and the clear throat between the curved walls matter for the lobby layout. Insert the block with its centre on the entrance axis, then trim the adjoining walls to the stubs. Scale by 1000 in millimetre drawings. Rotating the block by 45 degrees changes the wing position without affecting the enclosure geometry.

Questions

What diameter is the drum?

About 1.8 metres in the drawing units, a common size for a small revolving door; scale the block if your specification differs.

Can I rotate the wings?

Rotate the whole block by 45 degrees for a different wing position, or explode it and rotate only the four wing lines about the hub.
