About this block
Three half-round chairs are set at 120-degree intervals around a circular table, and every piece carries a pair of thin cross-hair centre lines, which makes it easy to snap the group onto a grid. The drawing is two block definitions, a table-and-chair set of 15 entities and a chair block named GHE (Vietnamese for chair), inserted on layers NOITHAT and N_THAY18. It spans 1.88 by 1.47 drawing units, so the chairs are about 0.6 m wide if read in metres.
Coffee shops, lounges and breakout spaces use groups like this in plans at 1:50 and 1:100, and the cross hairs are handy when you array the set along a wall. Insert by the table centre, rotate to suit the room and scale by 1000 for millimetre drawings. If the centre lines clutter the print, freeze the layer they sit on rather than exploding the block.
