The file holds 202 block definitions placed as 204 references, arranged in colour groups across the sheet: red warning triangles, red and blue circles for prohibition and obligation, blue rectangular information panels, green direction boards and cyan service pictograms. The naming follows the French road code, so the blocks run A1a, A1b, A2a, A3, A4, A5a, A6b, A15, A19 and A25a before moving into the B series. A roadworks panel reads FIN de CHANTIER, and speed plates carry 60, 50 and 45.
Two drafting conventions sit side by side here, which matters as soon as you scale anything. The named sign blocks are drawn at real panel sizes, A25a at 400 by 1,200 units and A26b at 603 by 464, while the numbered blocks 1 to 45 are unit squares placed at a scale of 1000. Highway layouts, traffic management plans, roadworks phasing drawings and car park signage all draw on a set like this. Copy out the panels you need and give them one consistent scale before placing them along a road centre line.
